Matcha lattes here are so refreshing. The right amount of tea leaf powder and a touch of sweetness. They just don't work the same to make at home!

I hadn't been to a Heine Brothers Coffee location before, and I really enjoyed this space, and the focus on fair trade and ecologically responsible coffee. However, given my limited budget, I don't think I can afford to make it a habit to go here. My small sandwich, yogurt, and little drink came to $13, which is more than I'd usually want to spend even at an actual freshly prepared meal, let alone a quick bite. Also, the items aren't labelled clearly with the prices, so the total cost came kind of as a surprise for me. That said, this is a nice, inviting space, with adequate seating, and I liked the variety of food and beverage options. Maybe as a treat every few months I can come back since it's on the pricey side.

Heine Brothers is the best coffee in town. They are consistent in both the quality of the product and customer service. The prices are fair and more reasonable than Starbucks. A Starbucks mocha tastes like warm chocolate milk with some hint of coffee-like flavor, overly sweet like syrup. A Heine Brothers mocha tastes like rich, velvety coffee with dark chocolate smoothness; it's mellow and grown up. There's really no comparison.

Remarkably good espresso drinks and a very pleasant, knowledgeable staff. Fast wifi and outlets near tables. Outdoor seating was especially welcome because the AC made it cold inside.

Love this place! Every visit to the area this is where we start our day with a perfectly made cappuccino and green tea latte.

Pretty damn good coffee. I love the baristas. The pastries, etc. are good enough but they aren't gonna light the pond on fire. But who goes to a coffee shop to eat?

Always love Heine Brothers. They offer alternative milks (soy, almond, coconut) and a selection of gluten free snacks. The Body Good Bar sold here is a favorite. Also important to me is that Heine Brothers coffee is eco-friendly and locally roasted.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. Horrible service, drinks never taste the same due to lack of training, and just recently figured out that they changed the amount of shots in a small and medium to both having 2 shots. "You're paying for more milk and flavor syrup." Is what the employee had for an explanation. I mean, I've got milk at home if I want more milk? Do yourself a favor and go find a better local coffee shop to support instead of this place!

Heine brothers has a great atmosphere and great coffee. This is the place for the community as well as a space to work.

As of 7/8/20 you can only order online. I did not know, and downloaded the app and placed my order. Within 5 minutes my drink was ready to be picked up. There are tables set up right behind the door that you can go to pick up your beverage.

Heine Bros. is always good and I have been to several locations! Their coffee drinks are tasty and always fresh-made! I believe in supporting local businesses & this is a great local business to support!

Iced chai was tasty. Clean and lots of seating area.

Their London fog had tea pieces in it, was too watery, and I had to fix it by adding a lot of cream to make it better, which cooled my tea too much. Their iced tea is good though. And their chai tea latte is too. But my favorite drink was a flop. Maybe they'll make it better next time.

This was my first visit to Heine Brothers. When I asked what flavors of ice coffee they served, the drive thru person acted like I was stupid. Then I asked for Splenda and was told there is sweetener in the pumpkin spice mix. I suppose I should have tasted it before I drove off because it doesn’t taste like there is any sweetener in this Drink at all. I sadly won’t be back.

Every heine brothers in Louisville is absolutely amazing.Price $$$Expensive but seriously does the trick. I prefer to buy the bulk bags of coffee, although in store service is always as fast as possible. All baristas handle themselves properly and really seem to care about their job.This service is hard to find.... Glad to have it here in town.

We placed an order for hot coffee, they gave us one iced, when it was handed back as a hot coffee it was warm not hot, not full of flavor like your use to getting at a Heine brothers.. very disappointed!

my favorite place to go for my coffee! actually surprised me that they were very pet friendly! i enjoy sitting outside before or after a hike with my dog , to meet a friend for some conversation or just by myself for some relaxing down time! highly recommended

A really neat location. Heine Brothers' always has great coffee, but this location is unique. It has a cool 70s vibe and a great patio. The customer service at this location is superb. Definitely worth checking out.

Chenoweth Lane store is great. Friendliness and quick response by Baristas is excellent and genuinely friendly. Coming from a customer service management background I'm constantly impressed with the staff and their sense of urgency in completing orders without visibly showing stress or frustration. Great teamwork makes for a great experience. A definite stop if you are in St. Matthews.

This is a great Heine Bros. It's the first coffee shop I think of when I'm in this area and need a caffeine boost. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available here. I recommend the Heine Palmer, a black tea/lemonade combo, that's available during the summer months!
